Having just installed the Stebel horn which is the last mod I plan to do this year on the Rocket (I'll leave the Progressive forks to the dealer) - I started thinking about which mods I have been most, and least, pleased with and what I still want to do. Would love to hear what other Captains think!

Fave Mods:

1) Eastern Beaver Headlight Relay (peace of mind + real lights!)
2) Progressive 440 Rear Suspension (night and day difference - different bike!)
3) Jardines/Triples/PC5/Remove secondaries (this is cheating but I count this as 1 performance mod - Houston - we have lift off!)
4) Gi-Pro (Gear indicator + no more limits!)
5) Stebel horn (safety 1st - or 5th....)

No Regrets But...

1) K & N Under Seat Filter (should have saved my $ and just waited for the triples)
2) Scorpio i-900 Alarm (don't get me wrong - like the alarm but this was more for show than anything else - bloop bloop!)
3) Fuel Gauge (like the look and wouldn't change it - especially with the matching clock - but totally useless! Have to do the fuel tank mod...)

Future Mods

1) Progressive front fork springs (can't wait - sitting at my dealers since they "lost" their front fork tool....ridiculous...)
2) GPS (should be super useful)
3) Tool Kit (OEM tool kit is bewilderingly useless - going to put together my own kit now that I have a glove box)

i think the best mod i did was the heated grips. man, riding in winter sucked donkey balls before.

after that, most of my stuff is well worth it for a number of reasons....i won't list them. and a couple of things are just nice to have's, they serve a function but are not show stoppers. i don't think i'd be happy if i had to take back any of them, but some are more important than others.

anyway. future stuff. i won't list the to-do's coz i'd be typing all night, so here are the committed ones for the next few weeks;
1) PC5 and autotune on the way
2) carpenter 240hp kit on the way
3) triple K&Ns with drycharger covers sitting on my desk waiting for carpenter kit
