If memory serves Lonzol uesd to make a Rocket specific tank pad that was very effective and looked cool.

Send him a PM and see if he still has them. I have one and it has done the job nicely.
It's not a thick rubber pad, its fairly thin and you spray the back with adhesive to glue it on. It has withstood numerous washings, rain, sub zero temps and is still in pretty good condition. I don't recall what they sold for so you'll need to get with him.

Maybe you should have used KEGGER for a handle instead of sixpack.

handle came from a Valkyrie I had
