Mine didn’t with both Avon and Metzler. The bike had to be jacked up high enough for the tire to come straight out and then tilt at an angle and slide under the can.
I will try that next time now that I figured out how to add a strap for stability on that lift. I do have the larger diameter Bridgestone Exedra Max on there (and replaced with same) which also has more of a lip where the tread meets the sidewall.
I was able to remove the Avon stock and put the Exedra Max on without removing the Vandemon exhaust. I did have to unbolt and move the license plate/mudguard arm, but that was relatively easy compared to the removing the can. Using the standard HF engine lift as well with a jack stand under the swing arm for stability.
The problem I had was thet the rim did not clear the hub and the tire did not clear the muffler. Maybe raising the swingarm a bit would make a difference, I'll keep that in mind for next time.
The kick stand while resting against the bumper on the Vandemon left can is apparently slightly lower than with stock exhaust and so has been experiencing a case of road rash. I popped the rubber bumper out and cut it in half to regain some clearance and will probably take about 1/8 off the foot as well.
on an gen one (steel) i took a torch and heated the kickstand about an inch above the foot then pulled the bike over to put weight on it and hit it with a flat chisel to get the desired angle then hit the outer foot to make it set flat
