ABS Light

How long does ABS light stay on for before going out? I test road a second hand one, it was a 2010 roadster with only 4000 klms on it, but it took a couple of klms for the ABS light to go off?
I asked him about it and he was told from the bike shop where he brought from new that it was suppose to do that?

Not sure mine is on for that long (I've gotten used to it so don't really notice that it's on any more) but it will remain on for alittle while after you set off - there is a reason for it

Slowly getting there mate just 1 more op to go to remove a piece of my liver and they hope to get it all, so the riding will be happing soon.
This one I rode is like new, it has staintune pipes with the cross over so the cats are gone, k&n filter under the seat with a triumph tors tune and a different set of handle bars, mirrors and leavers, back rest and rack and the small fly screen and only 4250 klms on it and I can get it for $16k. (he needs the money for a block of land he is 51 years old and the power scared him after all his Harleys so he only rode it sedately )
What's that price sound like? he has spent nearly 5k in bits and it cost him 23k when he brought it new in September of 2011 its plated 10/ 2010

Well I didn't even notice it, he just told me when I got back it stays on for a while and not to worrie about it as he has asked about it so maybe it not on for that long at all.

Should go off after you hit 10kmh, and stay off till you restart, any other time its on indicates a malfunction

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me Pete .. $26,000 bike for $16,000 ... can't really go wrong your health improving is great news mate. Better hurry up and buy it , fair chance i'll be joining Ponters and some of his mad mates on a lap of Tassie in a few weeks.

Hi Mate its in the shed now, I brought it this afternoon .
