2012 R3R-Engine Knocking/Ping around 2000 RPM

You can test the TPS with an ohm meter. I can’t remember which pins you meter across, but when you move the throttle, the reading should change consistently and not jump around.

Something quick and easy to check. The small coil wires get loose. You have to routinely crimp them down for a good solid tight connection. #1 is a bit$h to get too, but you could check the other two. Even if this isn't your issue, but they are loose, you'll likely notice better performance down the road.

Please check the 6 exhaust nuts holding the header to the block. These will come loose causing engine noise especially under load. Just retighten. Make sure the domed nuts aren’t bottoming out.

I’ve had this happen several times on my Roadster.
