The thread title was First Ride Of the Year. I think you've ridden before this weekend. If I remember correctly, on the 2nd day of the year you and another fool on a bike, and one lovely lady on a Spyder, rode all the way across the Gulf coast on a quest for sun and sand.

Right you are sir...2,916 miles on the clock when we got home.

I put on 86km on Sunday. It was +13C (56F) and the snow is just about gone. Great to be riding in January in southern Saskatchewan.

Before I went out for three hours of cardio therapy (aka clearing the driveway of snow, to some) I sat on my Mulberry Mistress' saddle, strapped on my fullface lid and made "Vroom, Vroom" noises. Does that count???

I could be up for a weekend meet and would suggest the Midlands area as a good central point,
but I do work 5 nights a week and don't finish until Saturday morning. Im very busy this year
with other meetings etc as I am actually the Founder & President of the Suzuki Intruder
Owners Club UK, but would do my best to attend a meeting

We are back to the crap weather again now with heavy snow forecast for Wednesday / Thursday

I just sold my Intruder which I've had since new in 2007. I spent quite a bit of money on it but I'm really pleased with my new wheels. I've been riding bikes since I was 14 (the legal age where I live) and now have my first ever Triumph. . Here's a pic of the old bike.
