Thanks Bull, actually they're not 100% aligned though. I tried it, but since the seat has been scraped out and lowered, I couldn't comfortably reach the bars when aligned with the fork rake. I had to move them a little bit closer for optimal comfort, so I also lost about half an inch of bar height, compared to exact alignment.
But it is almost invisible, and frankly I don't mind at all, as long as I don't have to use a steeper angle than the fork.
A flat bar angle shows that the sled is at least big enough for it's own bars...

Finally I have mounted what feels like the ultimate handlebar for my Roadster: 12'' fat apes!
They are not cranked to the back as much as the stock handlebar, so I could adapt them to provide lots of space for my long arms. I cut them by about 1/2'' on each side, but they are still really wide.
The stock cables and lines do the job, it was a rather tight fit though.

To my mind these apes look completely natural on the Roadster. This monster makes them look just like a regular handlebar.
Any thoughts and feedback welcome!

Gonna put 16" Apes on my Rocket 3 Tourer pretty soon and for those folks out there who have never tried them don't knock them, had them on my Indian chief and was the most comfortable ride out there.

Here you go, bars aligned with fork angle, even at 16''! What year is that Indian?

How is the engine sound compared to a Harley? Here in Europe the Indian mufflers have been choked up a lot.
