Ride
2016 Rocket III roadster
Planning one more ride before return work. Want to head across valley up to Sequoia trees. Forecast is for 108 high. Will definitely be above 100 for may Be 120 minutes of riding. Any reason to be concerned? Bike is tip top with 12.5K
Radiator service not due and fluid is full
Thanks guys

Assuming your hoses are good, and at that mileage they should be, the bike should be fine. I always carried a new radiator cap, seemed to be the first thing to go. Just try to avoid sitting in traffic for an extended period of time. Both for the bikes sake and your own. Sitting on one of those things, on hot asphalt, in 100 degree plus weather isn't a pleasant experience.

I just rode through Phoenix and it was 118 in stop and go to totally stopped.....ran good. 108, hahaha that's a cool spring day. :sneaky:
You should learn to ride sitting backwards, that way you could ride to work normal, home backwards and be evenly roasted on both sides before you get home to feed the family your shanks! ;) 🤔:roll::roll::roll:

After riding across country in june july and experiencing all the weather this great country gives ya. The searing heat in Phoenix is breathtaking and will hurt you, when i got up out of that valley i longed for 98 and wet that most of the south will give ya, but that 118 in Phoenix will cook you. Nothing came close to that DRY (lmao) heat anywhere else on my trip. Oh i rode Arkansas Oklahoma Texas, not even close to the incinerator know as the desert phoenix lasvegas that dry heat at 115 is not for the faint of heart who has ATGATT on. 98 and rain oh please let it be.
