I'm I. 5he process of getting one or the other and I want to learn at least a little bit of how they work and parts and stufff. Like that.

You can download the workshop manual if that's what you're wanting .. not sure exactly what you mean by " how they work" .. pretty similar to a fuel injected internal combustion car engine really.
