    Gran Throwover saddlebags

Has anybody had a chance to try a set of Kuryakyn Gran Throwover Bags. I only do a couple trips a year where I need saddle bags and was intrigued by the claim that these bags didn't require any supports. Any info, good or bad would be helpfull. Joe.

    Saddlebags

Just got an R3. Not the classis-just an R3. I had EZ-brackets with bags on my America and was pleased-what are you all doing for the Rocket? What's working for you? Thanks. KOF

    Sitting on the saddle bags

Does anyone ever just throw their leather saddle bags across the seat and sit on them? I've done it for years because its just easy and quick, but have always wondered if anyone thought I was crazy for doing it.

    Saddleman gel seat pad

Here are some photos of my new Saddleman gel seat pad. It straps under the seat and is velcroed to the top of the strap on top of the seat. Will be testing it on a dinner ride next Saturday from D&D Cycles to the Steak and Ale on N. Davis Hwy by way of Century, Jay and down the Chumukla Hwy...

    Saddle Bag Stiffeners/Liners-Flipmeisters

They are done at last. I've already sold a couple of sets through inquires on the website. They are fabricated from 0.125" Virgin High Density Polyethylene, heat formed to the exact inside shape of a new Triumph Leather Pannier. Each kit will consist of 2 Perhiperal Liners/stiffeners and 2...

    Saddle bag liners-Flipmeisters

Here's the update..... I have the prototype liners in my bags, well. sort of. I'm waiting for the fasteners to come in from Vermont. Should be here on Friday. The Flipmeister Saddlebag Liners will restore the factory, angular shape to your bags (no pun intended, don't tell your wife). It...

    Flipmeister Saddle Bag stiffeners

Here's the skinny. I'm going to do a poll about hardware options and I need your input because of the variables. However: The liners (stiffeners) will be fabricated from 0.125" HDPE (High density polyethylene extruded virgin). We all desire something 'virgin' right?:D I've researched many...

Russell Day Long Saddle pics are posted

Finally got the pics up, what do ya think? The seat cost more than my dad's 1969 Honda 350 when he bought in brand new.

    Russell Day Long Saddle

Well it's finally here and the verdict is good! The Mrs. likes the new seat. I like it as well but it's going to take some getting use to. It puts me a little taller but I suspect that will change some with break in. We've not been on a trip longer than 60 miles but on the stock seat that was...

    Russel Day Long Saddles

Who here has used this Co. and what did ya think about the seat. More importantly what did your pillion think about the seat. I would appreciate the input before plopping down the six large (hundreds are large for me) for a custom seat. Say, just how much money do you have to spend on a bike...
  11. Pictures of Easy Brackets with factory saddlebags

Highly recommended mod. Easy to put the bags on and take them off, returning to a clean look.
  12. beetlebags or factory saddlebags

I've researched this to death by this point, and I have a few more questions before pulling the trigger. I'm hopelessly torn between Beetle Bags and factory leather saddlebags. My problem is that I really love the way the bike looks as it is — naked. It has a bar-hopping bad-assness that I fear...

backrest/saddlebags Pictures I finally got my backrest and saddlebag brackets made. I just put them to the test with a four day, 1400 mile run up to the smokey mountains. I could not have done it without the backrest. I did 600 miles just yesterday. here are some pictures. Bob

    saddle bags

Just ordered some saddle bags from www.leatherneckjims.com, thier the "bad lands" model. I've been looking for quite sometime and have poured over countless web sites and finally found the bags that I wanted (I thought). Got a call today from Jane (Mrs. Jim) to confirm my order and while talking...

    Favorite Saddle Bags

What are your favorite saddle bags for the Rocket? I can't decide what to get. I do need something large. Being waterproof and locking are a big plus, too.

    Back in the saddle.

Went for my first ride since the surgery this evening. ****, it felt good![Okay, the arm didn't feel that good, but the rest of me did.:p ] Rode about 50 miles after the temp dropped down to a balmy 93 degrees. Doc Brenner wouldn't be happy with me. I had promised him to wait at least two...

    Saddlebags and Easy Brackets

Just got some Ledrie Rigid Back Leather Saddlebags and Easy Brackets. Was wondering how high the bags need to be above the exhaust. Can someone measure their Triumph saddlebag distance on the right or 2-muffler side, from the top of the top muffler to the bottom of the bag? Maybe the distance...
