    It's the Triumph OEM fitted Datatool System 3 There's a switch that opens when you raise the tank that sets the alarm off.

    Hi, After a couple of chats with Scorpion (I guess they own Datatool now) it appears my sensor is faulty, as I find it difficult to dis-arm, and impossible to get into Service mode. I'm planning on removing the alarm, but have a question before I start annoying the neighbours.... Can somebody...

    thanks guys, all sorted now. I was referring to the main bike battery, which I had tested, (was ok, but not perfect), and replaced. root cause was rider error...... My Triumph America does not require the clutch to be held in to start the bike......

    Hi All, Rode back yesterday on my new purchase, stopped for petrol, and it wouldn't start...I did struggle to re-aquaint myself with the alarm, but did disarm it eventually, then nothing from the starter. What's the best manual to look at if I wanted to swap out the battery myself? cheers Nick
