    Hi Apart from the possible safety issues mentioned above, pulling in the clutch reduces the load on the started motor, it has enough to do turning the big lump, without adding the load of turning the gearbox. Richard

    Hi The first cable I received did not work, they sent a replacement and that was fine. Try plugging it into a computer and see if it recognises there is something there, the faulty one didn't do anything. Richard

    I think the tool kit with the bike is only intended as an emergency kit. Since there are 2 spark plugs per cylinder the chances of a break down caused by a plug is very slim. Richard
