Want to Buy Trade my Chrome trim pieces for your Black

I can't help you with the intake or cam cover but I'd trade most everything else including the radiator shrouds.

Want to Buy Trade my Chrome trim pieces for your Black

Oh yeah Oh yeah you can too much. A high quality gloss black finish to a few pieces adds the right amount of contrast.

kenne, you are probably right. The advantage of getting them powder coated is I can have them done in gloss instead of the semi gloss originals.

Want to Buy Trade my Chrome trim pieces for your Black

I have a Classic with too much chrome. I'm going to get the front fork guards, rear foot peg and muffler hanger bracket cover, rear frame rail covers and headlight bezel rings powder coated black. I'll buy a set of black radiator shrouds from a Roadster. I thought I ask here first in case...

2017 Triumph Street Triple 765: Bigger, badder, lighter and broader appeal

Triumph is one effed up company. This bike is the one that should be in the press. Instead of traveling North America having star studded launch parties for the abortion that is the Bobber. The Street and Speed Triple are the best bikes in the Triumph line up. The Street is the true...

    Transmission Update Needed?

This kit no longer exists in Canada period. Triumph don't even want to acknowledge that it ever existed. So far my black engine 06 is okay.

Any issues with 2011 Rocket Touring??

I shovel the snow off of the back driveway with an eye to how it will melt in the spring so as to make the earliest possible exit.

    Anyone selling a Flyscreen?

I bought my bike used. The previous owner used the crash guards as the tie down points to trailer the bike. All of the guards were no longer at right angles to the bike. I grabbed the crash bars and straightened them out very easily by hand. It's my understanding that when you bend metal it...

    Anyone selling a Flyscreen?

Ouch! Dude!, heal quick brother. I don't think the optional crash guards for the Roadster/Classic would be much help in a crash either. Unlike yours the tubes are thick enough. It's the mounting plates, they are real bendy. Particularly the rear one's. I envisioned them trapping my legs...

This Close " to cutting off heel shifter

I get a good range of movement with my size 43 shoe. Using the heal portion for shifting is now easier. I don't have to lift my heel nearly as much. DSC09413 by SaddleUpBike, on Flickr DSC09414 by SaddleUpBike, on Flickr DSC09416 by SaddleUpBike, on Flickr

I've owned some noisy bikes but.....

Speaking of noisy engines. Anybody here ever hear a 1700cc Thunderbird run? OMG!, it's turning out to be a real mess. Now there is talk of a class action law suit. Latest theory is the cylinder sleeves are loose and are moving up and down with the pistons.

    Storing Bikes in cold weather

I use ethanol free fuel as a habit. Even though the Rocket doesn't need premium fuel it seems to be the only way to get gasoline that's ethanol free. If you use your bike daily as your commuter machine and burn through your fuel quickly it shouldn't be a problem. If you are like me and your...

This Close " to cutting off heel shifter

Rotating the lever on the spline so that the front of the shift lever is high enough to get your boot under places the rear part almost level with the foot board. Allows for more foot movement. No cutting necessary.

If the extended warranty is from a third party, not directly from Triumph don't walk away from the deal, run. I sold Triumph motorcycles in Canada and the mother ship did not offer extended warranty. If it's not from the OEM it's not warranty, it's an insurance policy. Good luck making a...

Awesome bike. Well done. Remove the engine guards, rear bags and sissy bar thingy, solo the seat and you'll be set. V-Twin motorcycles are meant to be slim.
