    Just to add another voice to the reassurance... I have been out in some serious downpours with my K&Ns and not noticed any effects whatsoever... I suspect when you calculate the volume of air being sucked through them compared to the amount of water getting on them you will find it to be trivial.

    I have a set of Flip's bag shape restorers inbound as we type... I use Maguire's on mine so the leather has stayed looking good / supple, but due to the amount of stuff I carry in them has gradually sagged to the point of being unsightly... looking forwards to restoring things to as they should be.
