To be honest I just changed one of the rear bearings in my 18 inch rim. The inside double roller had a damaged seal. Like everyone else the were tight until I removed them. I just called one of the local bearing distrubutors, Motion Pro. And they had cheap ones in stock. Or great ones he could order. So I ordered one and dropped it in. I have used dealers, but there is none within 200 miles.
hi there ive noticed you put touring boards on im in the process of doing my 2018 roadster I was hoping I didn't have to change brake line that it might bend a bit could you tell me what brake line you used if you know part no incase I need to get one

Mine are a 07 classic set brake and all. Not to long ago I posted a couple pictures of Thekid's 07 with 2010 floor boards. But neither of us have ABS. You need to speak to 1Olbull who has a set on his roadster.
warp . what is the baffle you are running in the carpenter pipe you have ? looks nice on there. thanks.

Its from freedom performance. It fits their outlaw megaphone. Carpenter did not make one when I got all three of my pipes
Well, thanks, I thought I'd offer- it seems only fair. If I had waited for the one I ordered to arrive I'd have been without a bike for far too long. You saved me, for sure.

I'm headed up to Galax now for a beer and burger, then a nice camp site next to the river. I hope to meet up with you sometime in your great state or mine.

    Many thanks- Blake
Warp- Finally got the cam tool I ordered in from BikeBandit and wanted to offer to trade it for your used version that you've been kind enough to lend out. I'm sure I added some wear struggling to get my timing right. I could swap out with you the next time I'm up your way. Besides, I'd like to meet you in person and maybe work some barbecue into the equation. Thanks- Blake

Thanks for the offer. I just used it this last weekend
Ya you can see it looks used but its not worn so I would not worry about it. To be honest the only engine I could use it on is sitting on a pallet in my basement.

That one you used has been shipped to germany and back so one of our serviceman I think army, could do his update kit. She is getting some miles on her:)
Scott, I think I need to relocate my stock air filter. I am putting a big tire on the rear and need to move the battery a little. What are some cheap options? Thanks

Probably the ram filter set up would be the best since it comes with the IAT relocation harness. this type of filter is great to have just for the room it creates on top of the engine for maintenance purpose.
what type and size of tire did you put on? I assume dark side?
Hi again warp, Checked Cam chain tensioner drop for first time. 22mm drop and a 3mm shorter than new spring. Going to spacer it now and order parts. Guessing tensioner can be reset when off, so new spring (73mm). New chain, both blades. Is there anything else I'll need? Hoping to do job from front without removing engine. Is that possible?

The Drop was 22mm; shocking. bikes only done 8000 mile. previous owner never checked this (why would he?). Ordering parts tomorrow: chain blades and spring. Can it be done thru the front?

Yes you can stick the blades in thru the front clutch cover. You just have to smile and hold your face straight but it can be done. I've done it myself.:D
