    Also check and crimp the low tension leads to the coils. They get loose and give random miss fires that are hard to chase down. If seen a few of the leads fall right off. The front coil is the hardest to get at. Easier if you already went to triple filters or some other aftermarket filters...

    Yes they are security torx basically a torx with a hardened pin in the middle. Some people call the pin torx.

    TPS and stepper motor issue

    You need the tune ecu software to set the TPS voltage. It tells the ecu to fully retract the stepper motor shaft prior to setting the voltage. Plus handles the adaptation cycle program.
