Hi everyone!

Just thought I’d introduce myself—I’m from the south side of Brisbane, Australia, and I’ve recently taken the plunge and bought a brand new Rocket 3 GT (picking it up next week and absolutely buzzing with excitement!).

I previously owned both a Gen 1 and Gen 2 Hayabusa, so this is quite a shift, but after test riding the 2024 Rocket 3 R, I was completely hooked. I’m keen to see how the GT compares in feel and ride—it should be a fun change of pace.

I’ve also had a Vandemon bi-modal exhaust and quick shifter fitted, so it should sound and ride beautifully once it’s all ready to go. Looking forward to learning from the community, hearing your thoughts, and hopefully catching up with some fellow Rocket riders around SEQ!

I test rode the black one, the other one I bought 😍

Cheers,
G'day from Mildura VIC

Greetings, the most important thing to watch out for is the Premagrin. It can cause facial disfigurement, I know that in my case it can take hours of cider therapy to relax my facial muscles after a long ride - otherwise I end up looking like Jack Nicholson in the Joker ! 🤣

You'll love it! As already said, the comparison to the Busa would be interesting. It's funny how you tested the R and went for the GT. coming from a sports bike. I did the same, but then I was coming from Harley's. Loved the R, but after an hours test ride my shoulders were starting to ache (maybe as I'm only 5'7") . Plus all the extras you get with a GT. I went for an older (2022) model for not just price, but unfortunately, I'm not a fan of the blacked out look. Although, after a few months with the Autosol, I can see the attraction 😀.
