OK a simple CONTROLLED way to richen the fuel mix

Hi

I suspect all that is doing is convincing the bike ECU the air or engine temperature is lower than it actually is, which will make it run richer.

This is a poor way to do it, Triumph spent £££££££ developing a ECU and engine management systems to control thing properly, this is just a sticky plaster bodge.

Tuneecu is so easy to use, it has to be the way to go.
It would be better to spend the money on a Ramair filter, and use a Tuneecu flash.

Having read the fitting instructions I am sure that is all its doing, its a bodge that belongs on a boy racer 1200cc hot hatch, you know the type of car, all noise and no action, with fluffy seat covers, and oversize wheels with lowered suspension so the tyres rub on the arches, I have got more power in my fuel pump, the UK readers will know what I am on about.........:D

Absolutely - BUT Triumph develop their tune to meet emissions rules as well.

This, like the Healtech GiPro ATRE - is for the technically challenged. Hell - I can think of loads of bike owners I know for whom frankly the Triumph "toolkit" is in excess of their abilities - let alone attach wires to ECUs.

Barbagris that Triumph toolkit bit is funny as hell because it is true.

Honestly - you cannot believe the things some folk do. I am "resident" at a workshop most weeks on Thursday. I have seen some REAL horrors.

Off tack a bit - but the guy who designed this Booster Plug thingie has written a short "book" on how M/C FI works - He admits he's a bit biased but it is if nothing else an interesting read. Free Motorcycle Fuel Injection e-book
