    Hey y’all, Today I finally replaced my sump pan on my 2015 rocket 3 roadster and when putting the new pan on, the screws broke before reaching the indicated spec of 12Nm. Is it recommended to replace these bolts each time? Got lucky since torque is so low and was able to remove the broken end...

    Thanks, just trying to get my hands dirty and get to “know” a bit more. I got myself a torque wrench to make sure I’m not going too hard as you mentioned. I’m pretty sure i can get to it, y’all helping a lot!

    Thanks very much for the info. I’ll do a thorough cleanup this weekend (ordered the different stuff I need - I’m not a mechanic but I’m learning). I jumped a few curb (unintentionally) and I see a few scratches but nothing recent comes to mind. I’ll let you know what I find :)

    Thanks a lot for this, much appreciated. Should I replace the gasket? Or just clean it up? Also, people mention replacing the washers, screw and what not... what’s your take on these?

    Haha thanks for the conversion, I’m French and have no clue what they talk about usually with pounds, feet and inches :roll: So quick update: cleaned it all up and this am I have a few drops coming from the front of the sump :banghead: Looks like I’m going to have to drain the oil and drop...

    @scot in exile : I put a piece of cardboard but was not seeing any further dripping. I cleaned it up now and will see tomorrow if there are anything dripping. @Fingers : I cleaned it up, will take it for a ride tomorrow. Thank you gentlemen, I'll let you know!
