    cheers for all the help, after finally giving up the ghost and a expensive transport to the shop, it was the immobiliser pcb in the end that had went, a mere 270 notes (sterling) to fix (ouch).

    OK, here we are. I think it may be the battery, bought a new one, only trouble is that it shows the engine management light now and wont do squat. All the lights etc come on as normal plus the orange on for engine management which i am informed happens when the alarm/immobiliser needs reseting...

    I do have the factory fitted alarm, the immobilizer should be cut out though as it does the usual beep on turning the key plus the lights light up and then go out, leaving the green on as usual.

    gave it all a good twat with a rubber hammer, still nowt, it still makes the click to start the just the dull whine, all lights go on then off as usual on the speedo, the orange engine light goes off too like it should. Might have to get a coule of heavies around to help me bump start it...

    cheers, I have jumped it from my other bikes battery which is brand new, all lights are very bright leds on the dial go on and then off as usual, but a vague clicking sound is all thats heard!! Wierd, will start agai tomorrow and see if a new days brings better luck!!Cheers for the input though!

    cheers Ok will give it a try, all the lights work though, headlights too, the needle goes around and back as usual?? Will give the terminals a clean tough!

    Ive been away on tour, very short notice and forgot to disconnect/drain etc my Rocket. 6 months idle it now wont start, charged the batt which is fine, and refilled the tank, lights all come on, starter clicks but no engine action. Any help Rocketeers for a mechanical mong like me?? Else...
