Question about Noise while releasing clutch

Very interesting Im getting ready to change the clutch fluid, 30,000 mile service. Mine makes erratic noise also so will see what happens after a change. My manual says adjust the clutch also but there is no such section I can find and nothing I can see on the parts schematic. Any input anyone ?

    Outer Cush Drive Assembly

The large torx screw is your starting point. After that I'm not much help. Possible the nuts were tightened to 70 fp instead of 70 nm ? The whole rear drive comes off easily, lift brake off and hang, take off light bar and hang, remove abs sensor. Take off the 4 cap screws and your on the bench

What does OP stand for. Anyway just looking at self serving swing arm and shock linkage lubrication. The R3 manual I have access to says you will need the tool mentioned above to reinstall the swing arm. You are correct, correct pn is T3880183 per manual. Mistake was caused by Triumph World...

Swing arm bearing and Shock linkage Lube

Yes, both sides and there was metal to metal at the front spline in places. Just take off the shield, 2 fixings, remove the engine cover below, 7 ? 8mm fixings, squeeze the plastic cover to remove it and bingo, lube away. For reassembly I found it's much easier to assemble the rear to the bevel...

Swing arm bearing and Shock linkage Lube

I was told by an official triumph mechanic to do the splines every 15,000 K or face failure of the shaft at about 80,000 K. Tripped me out this was not in the manual. I notice your studs came out with the castle nuts, I have 2 the same. Did you just reinstall as is, ( I did one the first time...

True, not listed but need doing. Checked and did mine at about 28,000 K and was metal to metal in places. Just went in again at 52,000 K and grease had held up ok but doing it again. Easy enough job.
