    Front Tire Choices

Yea I was trying to get something local and already in stock which is a tall order around these parts, apparently.

    Front Tire Choices

After looking around for weeks, managed to find Metzeler ME888 front and rears for my 2.5 rocket. Tire prices have went up over 50% here since the last time I replaced them. Crazy. Avon tires aren't available at any shop within 100 miles for me. Metzeler Cruisetecs are all on back order until...

Squeaky Brakes on Rocket 3 R Storm – Anyone Else?

I've owned two triumphs and both have had squeaky brakes regardless of the pads being old or new.

    Looking for Triumph Pannier

You really have to give them a tug to make sure they're secure. The lock-clasp thingy is finnicky, but once it's on it's on pretty good.

    Rear Brake Issue

I'm starting to have problems with mine again (2020 GT) after the recall replacement. I need to call them and have them do something about it. Rode 2 days ago and it was fine. Went out this morning and had almost no rear brake and the res seems.. low, yet I don't have any brake fluid puddles...

    Dead battery/tenders

I had a lithium iron phosphate battery on mine but it was ****ing with the other electronics on the bike. Swapped it for an AGM battery and it's been smooth sailing since.

Where oh where are all the Rockets?

I'm also in Phoenix with a Rocket 3 GT. I've seen two other Rockets around the West Valley. Two different colors, one black and one the silver. One I've seen near Buckeye, the other I see more up in the Surprise area.

    2020 Rocket engine guard heat.

I have carbon fiber ones and I gapped them ~2MM or so and they stay a lot cooler. Still obviously going to be hot during a ride, but you can touch them without burning your hairs off immediately.

    New Battery

I decided to go with an AGM battery. It is a newer gen rocket, but it probably has the same charging system as the old rockets. After seeing the rather poor quality of the internals of these newer rockets, I think I'll just roll with AGM and avoid any problems.

    New Battery

I've got a battery tender that is made for both acid and LiFePo4 batteries already so I'm covered on that front.

    Air Filter Change

Over the last ~4000 miles, I seem to be getting about 1.5 miles per gallon better mileage and my style of driving hasn't really changed, using the DNA air filter.

    New Battery

My old battery went to **** and I'm looking for an upgrade. I'm wanting to swap to a LiFePo4 battery (I live in an always warm/hot desert). Any recommendations? What are the minimum cold cranking amps required for this bike? I've found a few that will fit but they seem to be kind of in the low...

    Air Filter Change

Yea me too, but the US version of the bike has the battery disconnect switch still blocking the way. I'm not sure if NZ has the same thing.

    Air Filter Change

I lifted the tank maybe 2 inches before the evap line snapped. That is absurd, but it was indeed dry-rotted. Replaced it with a higher quality rubber. And with the battery disconnect switch that is required by the bikes in NA, it makes it nearly impossible to get any larger fingers in to unclip...

    Air Filter Change

I fixed it after the part arrived. The stupid North American requirement for the 2nd battery disconnect switch is in the way of easily removing the fuel line disconnect so it's ****ing painful to do. The DNA air filter definitely made the bike louder. After letting it idle for about 10 minutes...
