    2020 Rocket engine guard heat.

I have carbon fiber ones and I gapped them ~2MM or so and they stay a lot cooler. Still obviously going to be hot during a ride, but you can touch them without burning your hairs off immediately.

    New Battery

I decided to go with an AGM battery. It is a newer gen rocket, but it probably has the same charging system as the old rockets. After seeing the rather poor quality of the internals of these newer rockets, I think I'll just roll with AGM and avoid any problems.

    New Battery

I've got a battery tender that is made for both acid and LiFePo4 batteries already so I'm covered on that front.

    Air Filter Change

Over the last ~4000 miles, I seem to be getting about 1.5 miles per gallon better mileage and my style of driving hasn't really changed, using the DNA air filter.

    New Battery

My old battery went to **** and I'm looking for an upgrade. I'm wanting to swap to a LiFePo4 battery (I live in an always warm/hot desert). Any recommendations? What are the minimum cold cranking amps required for this bike? I've found a few that will fit but they seem to be kind of in the low...

    Air Filter Change

Yea me too, but the US version of the bike has the battery disconnect switch still blocking the way. I'm not sure if NZ has the same thing.

    Air Filter Change

I lifted the tank maybe 2 inches before the evap line snapped. That is absurd, but it was indeed dry-rotted. Replaced it with a higher quality rubber. And with the battery disconnect switch that is required by the bikes in NA, it makes it nearly impossible to get any larger fingers in to unclip...

    Air Filter Change

I fixed it after the part arrived. The stupid North American requirement for the 2nd battery disconnect switch is in the way of easily removing the fuel line disconnect so it's ****ing painful to do. The DNA air filter definitely made the bike louder. After letting it idle for about 10 minutes...

    Air Filter Change

Yea I've already bought the part from a dealership in Missouri, hopefully it arrives soon.

I thought so hard about replacing my black parts with the red ones at several points. That red just pops in the best way.

    Air Filter Change

I was lifting the front of my tank to change my air filter and the little bit I moved it caused the fuel feed plug thing to break off inside of the fuel hose. Anyone know where I can get just the fuel feed and not have to buy anything else? Picture attached. Thing snapped like it was dry rotted...

Rocket 3, 2020 and later, Tank Removal

I did this yesterday and barely lifted the front of the tank and my fuel feed snapped off inside the fuel feed tubing. The plastic plug nub thing that the tubing fits over, snapped off inside the tubing, like it was dry rotted. Trying to find another online to replace it without having to buy...

    Corbin Gunfighter

Mine seems to fit fine and sit correctly on the bike. I've had it for about a year and a half so far.

    Brake Pads - 2020 R3GT / R / TFC

The EBCs wear too ****ed fast. I need to find some ceramics or something that'll last more than 4k miles. At least my back brake pads do and I'm not even a heavy back brake user.

I dont understand - TTS supercharger Rocket 3R vs Hayabusa TTS supercharger

The Rocket is a low stress, low RPM engine. H2 is a high stress, high RPM engine. That's not even factoring in the additional weight of the Rocket. You'll likely beat them off the line, but past ~100 MPH, they're going to out pull you due to higher HP and lower weight. Then there's aerodynamics...

NEW SPARK PLUG UPGRADE ON ROCKET3R

    Good to know, thank you.

NEW SPARK PLUG UPGRADE ON ROCKET3R

I'm no expert, so someone else can probably give you much better advice. I'd say the iridium plugs with the same heat range as the factory ones (7).

NEW SPARK PLUG UPGRADE ON ROCKET3R

NGKs are fine, but no idea why they didn't use NGK iridium plugs.

    GT with R foot pegs

Mines not from the vibration, it's from the arm position and a pinched nerve. If I hold my phone in a similar position, or just hold my arm in a similar position as I would when riding it also goes numb.
