  7. Broken Connection in Ignition Switch

    My switch went at about 10K miles...I now have 21K on it. They did it under waranty and it was "their" idea to replace tank and seat locks so I'd have only one key to operate everything. This was before my ignition relocate. Not sure what they would have done in that case.

    Bigern, What was the symtom / reaction when the middle cyl gave you problems? I'm having a problem with the motor cutting out between 2100 & 2300 rpm constant speed.....any gear. Ok below that rpm, ok above that rpm, ok going thru that rpm. It feels / sounds like an electrical problem...

    I own both bikes. A 2 1/2 yr old '05 Rocket (Jars, 3 k&n's, PCIII) and a 1 1/2 yr old stock 109. Totally different bikes. I like the looks of the 109 better (pers preference)...I like the uniqueness of the Rocket more. For hopping around town on the short runs, I like the 109. ANYTHING...

  12. Windsield relocation

    I bought a tripple windshield bag from Honda and mounted it. In the winter w/ large gloves on, it was a little tough getting to the ignition. I did the ignition re-locate and it's great now.
