Hello Zenobosche and welcome from Virginia. Like R3Tex says, you need to down shift at that point. My Rocket has a slight hesitation at 55 in fifth gear when I crack the throttle but recovers quickly. I now will usually down shift if I am going to go WOT at that speed.

I have the same problem. Seems like the engine takes a second or two to react to the opening of the throttle in fourth or fifth gear. I am betting it's the slow opening of the secondary throttle plates? I am sure someone who knows the cause will chime in shortly.
