I mentioned a few days ago that Triumph of Atlanta told me my tach had gone south and that they had run several tests and were sure that a new tach at $300.00 plus dollars plus labor would solve my problems. After checking my fuses yes fuses, I found one that was fried, replaced it and the tach and all affected gauges and lights work perfectly. Just a coincidence I guess. You guys would probably have checked the fuse first but to say that I am mechanically challanged would be a step up. Live & learn.

ok sam ,you say your technically challenged , so you paid out 300 of your hard earnt just for it to be a fuse, you pay proffessionals to check that first, ,,,,,,,,right,,thats it ,, ive seen my arse , who was it and where does he live ,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Danny, it looks like Sam found the fuse problem before coughing out the $300+

Good find Sam - might need to remember that one day

It's a shame that the dealerships are so far apart. I'm lucky and have a good local deal ( within 1 hour of my house) (Capital Area Triumph, Highspire,Pa) I mention that pretty often when we talk about these things because they deserve the mention. I hear so many guys talking about their dealers really not being good at all. I hope you did find the problem before the $300 was spent. If not, I'm with Danny....They better be coughing up some accessories for at least the amount of the labor charge, if not the full amount!
