Tune .... I'll take the bike to a dyno shop because I know that'll do my head in and I'll **** it up.

Questions-
Im open for suggestions on pipes that may offer more power, but I want to keep the noise to an acceptable level, and not sound like a Hilman Hunter with the manifold missing.

Is there any maps etc: I can recomend to the dyno shop that you guys have experience with - they use Tune Boy

Is O2 bypass necessary, will I really gain much by it.

Roughly what gains in power could I expect.

Well, I initially went with Jardines and K&Ns, just loading a better tune myself, without a Dyno, the gain was tremendous. From 105 hp stock to in the 150 hp range, you may do even better with a dyno tune.

Well worth it then!!! thanx for the reply. My mate that just spent 7k on his Harley is really going to hate my guts. lol.

I got 40 hp gain by triple k&n's free flowing Reband pipes and a dyno

What did the Rebands set you back and how loud are they, may be worth buying a whole system rather than assembling one. They look pretty impressive on their web site but I can't find any good images of a full system with heat shields on the net. Keeping in mind I prefer, where the **** did that come from rather than, what the **** is that coming down the road.

Cant remember the $ but well worth it (IMO), TOMCAT says he likes the sound but would not like it any louder, I hear the pipes as well as the induction roar so its hard for me to gauge the noise level
I made a vid on youtube.
Also, after a dyno and a little extra muffler packing.....
If I were to get this exhaust again... I would not get the heat shield nuts welded on as the carbon fibre heat shield does not do much (Want to make my own stainless steel one), but rather wrap (Individually) the header pipes with LAVA wrap (stops your right leg from burning off)

pics in my gallery, don't have pics with wrap and heat shield's but will post some later

i'll get a pic of my new heatsheilds in the next few weeks, lava wrap is the go. you can ask reband to pack it tight so can make it as quiet as stock if you like.
