Where to put insurance and registration?

I put mine down my pants... When I get stopped I unzip my pants when they ask for license and registration...
 
Either in my tailbag kept protected in see-through plastic holder or, since I am an ATGATT guy, zipped into one of the innumerable pockets in my gear.
 
As Dawg 68 and TriumPhil have said...I never ride without a jacket and keep those things in a Ziploc bag in a pocket in my jacket.
