I had posted a request on this site to replace a lost right side stock pannier. Somebody responded he saw a guy selling pannier's and pointed me to his email. I pursued the lead and went back and forth for a couple weeks in buying a set.
Wouldn't part with just the right side. Looked for "tells", pictures, etc...etc...etc. to determine if he was legit or not. To make a long story short, it turned out this guy was a low life crook. He told me to make payment using Zelle, which my Chase bank had. Made payment and never received the panniers with 0 communication. I'm not gullible and have never fallen prey to a scammer. I did the best due diligence I could to vet the guy. When I realized this guy was a crook, I went to the bank to see if I had any recourse in getting my $350 back. The bank told me to contact Zelle, and good luck. They admitted I had little chance of getting my money back. Thanks Chase. I did call Zelle and talked to two Malaysian ladies I could hardly understand who told me to contact the bank. I asked the two Zelle ladies to, at least, flag two email addresses for fraud,. They didn't understand or care and refused. Caught in circular finger pointing with no recourse. Don't EVER use Zelle without having a personal relationship with the receiver. Understand why crooks recommend
Zelle for payment. They are a willing platform for crooks.

Beware of these two email addresses:
The two low life crooks are:

May they rot in hell.......
Should we bombard their emails with you are scum ?

Even better, bombard them with emails pretending that we are potential scamees. Occupy them with pointless back and forth emails to waste their time. Every second they are occupied dealing with someone who knows they are scammers they less chance they have of ripping other people off, the fewer people they rip off the less appealing scamming is. It's the only way to actually hurt them, make them work for nothing.

My personal favorite is telling them that you have sent them money through western union, they will travel hours to get to the office to collect the cash only to be meet with blank stares.

Sorry to hear about this. I try to pay attention to how long a person has been a member of a forum, and their post count. Not that that's fool proof, but I'd stay away from larger transactions with a person that hasn't really contributed much in threads. That's said, I try not to use friends and family pay pal. I don't think you get any help from PP with this type of thing if pay pal hasn't made their bit of profit.

Sorry to hear your troubles man. Facebook is full of them. It's easier to spot on FB by checking the profile. What I can't believe is they all want to sell you a R3 seat - what does that say about our asses 😂

Sorry that happened to ya op, wish they would have been here for ya. Good thing about buying on forum from forum members when u can is normally its like, check it out first, if it works sends money then. Always had great transactions on here.
