... at $400 plus $85 installation....ouch
I only have 8500 miles...i may push a bit more, you never got more from your taxes out of this tire....
Leaving the bike here for check up hopefully under the extended warranty for the ocabs disabled and while on that let's see if they can make the rear brake a bit less spongy. Other than that bike running great.
Clearing the abs error make the message disappear, but still the 3 permanent error codes are there and the abs light blinks every time I start the bike.

some people took matter in their own hands and fixed the rear brake issue by replacing the hose and its been working great for them.

$500 for a rear tire! Man, we need some more options in that size. @pica would you mind telling us the date code on that new one? I wonder if it's new production or one from older stock.
Avon is a performance tire
Metzeler is a cruiser tire ( cant take corners), little harder material, last 3 times more than avon
Bridgestone has a tire but little bigger, not performance though
so we are stuck with Avon until some other company makes Avon like material performance grade tire. I wouldnt change to anything unless i want to go in corners like a grandpa

So, 1223 (week and year) means manufactured about March 2023...

Excedra Max R 240/55R16 has every bit of the grip of the Avon when both are warm and slaughters the Avon in the cold, but less sharp profile so feels a touch slower tipping in.

At 1/3 the price and 50% more wear resistance I don't understand why anyone puts the Avon on.
