Here's a picture showing the difference between the stock bars and the valkyrie bars. Valk bars on top. This should give a pretty good idea on how much pullback, the valk bars are more narrow as well. MUCH more comfortable than stock. You can sometimes find them used, I bought my last set from Hal at Honda direct line Parts

Works for me

I now have the Valk bars,Rivco risers and just put RIII classic front brake lines on as well, they give you another inch on the top line and they are black which matches my bike. Of course the lines are all routed behind the tree. Just about where I want it...... maybe.

Post a picture or them on the bike yogi, would be good to see them fitted up, cheers. 8)

Are the black lines as good as the braided lines?

When I had brake problems practically the first question a mechanic would ask me is "have you got braided lines" as they said they were better and less likely to expand under pressure.

On the valk bars, I have them ordered. Anyway, how do you get the left grip off? I see it is still on in the picture.
thanks

just give it a good twist. it will come off. I installed a set of Kuryakyn grips so there was no need to take it off.

Thanks for the quick answer. How about the bar end weights. I forgot about those. I guess they screw into a rubber piece in the end of the bar.
Can I dig that out and reuse it?

the Valk bars are hollow, there is nothing to screw them into. you can weld a washer with a nut into the end to screw the weights to or just not use them. There is very little vibration in the bars. someguys have also filled their bars with shot to handle vibes. but again in my opinion, this is not necessary
