I want to take off the risers and use them on my next bike. But I don't really want to strip the handlebars like I had to do when fitting the risers (I broke the wires in the heated grips). So the question is has anyone refitted the standard risers but left all the throttle cables and wires to the south side of the top and bottom yokes? Clutch is easy enough to re-route to the front side of the yoke)
Thanks
Mike

..can't ya just swap 'em over without doing anything else?..and put a big thick blanket on the tank first...and don't let the risers twist around and scratch the triple tree..don't ask..

I've had mine on and off a couple of times.
Just leave the cables where they are now unless you WANT to reroute them back to stock positioning.
There's no reason you'd HAVE to, unless you want to.
