In the early 80's I ran a M\C shop servicing and repairing British M/C's.
I had a good reputation for building Engines.
One thing I always did (of coarse) was replace dodgy looking bolts.
When the owner came in to pick up his Engine I would show him a container of bolts that "I didn't know where they went"
That got a few different reactions
