Yes. Not with the Rocket, though. With the Alfa Romeo I used to drive when I lived in Rome, close to the Monte Mario hill where the Italian public TV network has its antennas. Virtually all decent cars parked in the area had their alarm sytem running amok once in a while as result. Not only locked doors and paralyzed ignition and/or injection systems ... but also flashing lights and blasting horns.
The (uniquely and charmingly Italian) irony of the tale is that local car thieves promptly zeroed -in on that --wealthy-- area, knowing that everyone living there would dismiss the racket as yet another TV-induced false alarm... and ignore them
