Trailer hitches...

Got word today from TRAILERS-ETC out of Canada that they have refunded my money and sent a message that there is an eternal backorder...... BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD FOR A HITCH I GUESS... Ideas anyone?
They just did the exact same thing to me. They should have removed it from their website two YEARS ago when they did this to you!

It’s not the greatest of photos, but I thought I’d share my trailer from 15 years ago and my solution to a hitch for it.
As can be seen it’s a single wheel trailer that leans with the bike when cornering. The wheel comes from a European scooter called a Speedfight. This has a single sided front swing arm, this I reversed and put it in the trail. The tow hitch is a PTO UJ from a tractor rated at around 250hp, each end of the UJ has a slot in the end for a large woodruff key and a 1/4” hole for a locking pin.
One end was fitted over a shaft with a key and locked in place with a hi tensile bolt that was lock tighten and pinned to prevent it coming undone. This attached to the trailer permanently, as similar arrangement was made at the other end for fitting to the towing frame on the bike. A stub with a key, but this time used a locking pin held in place with an R clip.
I’d quite happily travel two up with the wife at speeds up to a Ton on European motorways.

Mr. Burrell,

Good job,

I gotta take some lessons from you.

I can't get my Wife on the GT Seat.... let alone get her to climb into an enclosed White capsule........

You're Da Man!!
I’d say anyone who gets on the back of any 2:5 Rocket, has to have an extremely small butt or is a Sado masochist. I took the Mrs to our local dealer to have a look at the new Rocket, she took one look and said quite politely and I quote….
NOT A FCUKING HOPE!
About six weeks after that photo was taken we got a small dog and he sat in a tank bag on the tank.
