common d.side is chosen for different it provides different things.. mostly both more lowered combined with more life, goes often better on wet/dirt too.. furthermore with lower price which never hurts.. so only hitch it isn't efficient on very difficult cornering, then like so closed/slow too or worse on climb too.. with this tyre it should be solved this hitch too, being designed/built for very sport use.. I would like your opinions/thought on merit..

I don't think that tire would be a good choice. You need a tire that had the same tread pattern on both sides. Also a small center rib if it has one. The last DS I ran was a Toyo Proxes 4.

Go with symmetric tread.
If you can get one, 225/55ZR16 Riken Raptor
Run it at 28 psi.

BF Goodrich GForce Comp-2 A/S is another good choice

I thought too simmetric tyre for less fuel/noisy with more life too..
however I'm looking more support/rigidity..
so structure/compound for extreme sports use..

You pay your money and take your chances, but there is a lot of experience with the DS on this forum - and most options have been tried, many of them by me. I suggest that pay heed to the responses above, and run 28-32 psi depending on your weight and riding style.

I would like only more support while I'm going down on enough extreme, when therefore you go so down to get something like furrows on the footpegs sides.. my only purpose is then get more support on the tyre side sections where compound should be softer more..

Hello. Please describe your bikes modifications (rear springs, front springs, front tire size, intake & exhaust, engine HP etc..).

And what do you mean by extreme? Mountain riding, race track? What speeds? What percentage of riding is on the highway vs extreme conditions?

There are a lot of factors to consider when selecting any tire.

For absolute 100% best performance in extreme radius turns at high speeds on a Rocket with optimal stabilization enhancements and engine performance modifications only
a motorcycle tire will do.

A proper CT can get close to a MC for typical riding conditions but there can be some compromises.

In many cases a CT can exaggerate weaknesses in other suspension setup areas and care must be taken in selecting the width, diameter, speed rating and rim fitment
of the prospective CT.

I currently run Riken Raptor 245/50ZR16 97W (Load = 1,609 lb or 730 kg; Maximum Speed = 168 mph or 270 km/h ) but the 225/55ZR16 mentioned above is better for most
riders and closer to OEM specifications.

In the end only you will be able to decide.

The good news is the investment is low. For example the Riken Raptor 225/55ZR16 95W is only US$79 (unsure of a price for Italy) delivered. Installation here is $40.

In the worst case if you don't like it cut it off and switch to a different CT or MC tire.

I am not aware of any 16" CT's that have a softer rubber sidewall...

I can say that the GoodYear, Toyo and Riken car tires I have used all performed very well in cornering and none of them ever lost traction for my riding style.

Hi,
my riding style is often oriented for quickly riding, therefore lonely both for more fun however for risk myself only.. I don't use Metzeler for my feeling with Bridgestone, however stock size tyre except for 55/16 behind.. I don't know precisely how hp motor got however only few things I done, below thought shown not in order of excecution.. full power ecu stock, no neither box plenum tube, no under butt filter, so temp sensor/vent filter by Flip Meister, I removed both cetelyst with second Keikin butterfly, less 19" lenght muffler by Supertrepp.. less 3" high inox throttle trumper filter with mesh wire, of course tune ecu too, front kit suspension more tough/lower with fork upper yoke less 0,7" lower, double shock by EMC suspension setting for both rebound with compression moreover done depending your riding style/weight too..
I think it's here everything or I don't remember other for now..

Research on this site for other pros & cons and take your countries laws into consideration.

It takes about 1,000 miles of riding to get comfortable with the DS nuances so take it easy if you do decide to try it.
