Top Three Complaints

Nitrogen has larger molecules and as a result does not "seep" through normal pores in the carcas as bad. It does'nt expand or contract as much as regular air does when temps change. Costco (or is it Cosco) uses nitrogen in their tire shop, if you ask nicely they will usually let you fill your tires for nothing.

Since my two year warranty is up on March 22nd (and I return to the sandbox on the 15th) this would cause me to worry a little.

My problems with my bike were the ignition switch (replaced under warranty), replaced the battery once (but I agree with Baggage1...it is a concern), and some minor (I guess it is...) oxidation on some of the chrome pieces which the dealer took pictures of and sent off to Triumph and they approved the replacement of them. Overall for the two long trips I took on it (Nashville and Daytona/Key West) the bike performed flawlessly and I just wish I could ride it more.

I may put the beast up for sale as I could possibly be over here till June or November (at the latest) next year. My Rocket will be rather lonely and may bite me if I try to jump on it when I come home next week for paying it little or no attention the last six and a half months. Just throwing that thought around for now, nothing definite, I know it likes to be ridden and it is not getting enough use right now.

If I do sell it, when I come home for good I'll get a new one or a new R3T...maybe they'll have that 2500 cc engine out by then.

If I do sell it, the only thing I'll probably take off of it would be the Zumo 550.

I'm with Scot, I too have lost pressure in both the front and rear tire.;)

...........I've lost a bit of pressure too, but it's not in my tires.

All tires loose pressure. I don't thik I've ever seen a tire that didn't.

Finally, the ignition switch and the spark plug wires are replaced as part of the package when the TDU bearing is done. I forgot to mention that.

Nitrogen

I will give it a try...I have put it in the Rv and car but have not thought too much about the bike......if it helps on pressure flux....then I am in....thanks for the feedback

Tire rim rust oxidation etc??

Getting inputs of some in Florida that live near the coast that their rims rust....allow for improper seating of the tire...and leak? no good hard documentation but give it some thought??
