I recently swapped out H2O for Nitrogen in my tires, what is the ideal pressures for the R3. I live in Florida if that makes a difference.

H2O in tires must ride really rough!

Must be really bad on your suspension.

Do you get the feeling after you stopped from highspeed that the liquid is still rotating inside your tires? When you let go of the brake the bike just takes off by itself?

If you hear a squishing noise with pillion it means that you have air inside the tire!

If you hear waterfalls you have a leak!

Personally I think that was an excellent move. It also explains some of the xenophobic political comments recently too

hey I like a good discussion and tempers usually allow one's true feelings to come out. Thanks for the info, I called the dealer today and they said 40 front 42 back. It rides pretty good with the nitro in there minus the H2O, wiseguys!

Seriously....

Air is already 78% Nitrogen 20%Oxygen, 1% Argon and a whole lot more

Personally air is good for my tires, I know there are apparently some benefits running Nitrogen but in my mind it doesn't worth it.
See I check my air pressure before any day long trip and at the very least once every 2 weeks even if I don't ride. Every time I check the pressure I loose half a pound. If I'd be running Nitrogen I probably wouldn't check it as often just so I wouldn't loose this 1/2psi and surely wouldn't drive to a tire shop to get the extra 1-2 pounds I would need.

My 2 cents.

Red Rocket was it fun having everyone pile on top of you? It is normal for this lot, and certainly nothing personal, nor is it something that hasn't already happened or is about to happen to every one of us when someone else gets a chance. Nitrogen does make the pressure stay a tiny bit more stable. Makes sense at the race track if you need bottled gas to blow up tires, (IE, you have no compressor). But for me... I'm with Rook, (but I don't check the tires as often!)

I think it's an improvement from H2O, lol. Ok a little typo on my part. I was in a hurry on my way to get my tires drained and pumped up.
As far as everybody getting on me about certain comments, I think we're just getting started. Probably why I don't hang out in English pubs!
