Ticking

babes

what are nubile babes????? I have a faint recollection that I used to use them. Is that right?????? or are they an add on to a cage.
 
back to the "ticking" , the cam chain tensioner is aparently a rachet type , so it goes through a period before it clickes to the next setting , this causes a slight looser period , Ive found the ticking comes and goes ,mabe 3 times so far in 20,000 kms

I think it's called oldtimers!!!! or is that altzimers or at something like that. and the only thing ticking is my kind and caring heart. :lol: :lol:
 
ROB's saying the cam chain can "tick" periodically, but I don't think that's your problem Oldskool. The cam sounds more like a light rattle, almost like engine knock noise from using low octane gas. The exhaust leak sounds more like a tick, tick, tick. I've heard both as well as all kinds of Rocket noises. This is the bloody strangest sounding engine I've ever heard running. No big deal though. Gives the girl more character.
 
if you think its an exaust leak try the smoke test , light an incence stick and hold it under your exaust while the bike is running , it may show show a definate leak but its not conclusive at ruling one out , but at least youll smell pretty :lol:
