they were one mile up the road from our village on tuesday this week doing a christmas special from burton agnes hall. the villagers got an invite but our village did'nt. "very nice chaps apparantly". its on t.v on the night of the 19th dec. if you want to watch it. might not bother though cos they had two snow covered bmw's outside, who were they trying to kid, the snow plough's were struggling round here that day !

If it were done in the US, they would have filmed it in July just because they think Americans are that stupid.

Ride, fish and chips, ride, more fish and chips, ride, some haggis;), ride to restroom, ride, more fish and chips ?????????????? Perhaps you could point us to some on line recipes for famed dishes from the Isles. I knew an Irishman that detested food from the "homeland". I must admit that on this side of the pond, I think we know little of the local dishes there. While its burgers, fries, chili dogs, and BBQ here, what do you suggest from that side?

Mmmmmm, that made me think about deep fried cod .... ****, now I'm hungry! :D

well maybe i'am the wrong person to ask, i like a good homemade curry, took me 3 months to get over the last visit to resturant. i lost 28lbs in four days so i make my own now. some old fashioned food i enjoy thats hard to buy now is tripe raw with salt & vinegar(cows stomach) heart (cattle) chiclins (pigs stomach) black pudding (animal blood, fat, pepper, etc, boiled and made into a big sausage). a nice blue stilton cheese the more it stinks the better.a nice 2 yr old side of mouldy bacon, cut off what you want then reseal it with pepper.i should say that my wife won't touch any of these cos the smell makes her barf.i guess same as over there alot of folks eat junk/convenience food.not your typical foodie are among the things friends say about my diet. anyway try bbc tv food site or maybe channel 4 food for famous chef recipes.could just eat fish & chips now.
