Information overload I'm new to the site and it is the answer to ALL the questions I've had since I got my R3t and some I didn't know I wanted to ask. Problem is I am now addicted and loosing sleep trying to digest it all, so I'm hoping that if list my current understandings some of you will correct me on ones I've misunderstood. I have a 2008 R3t

1] A tuneboy with triple k&n's and exhaust [I have TORs] with the right Tune will:

A] Remove 1,2,3 gear restrictions
B] Dyno around 135 hp and 145 ft/lbs
C] Get about 37-38 mpg at 65-75
If this is correct does anyone know of a group buy that I can get in on?
I was wondering if the gipro with atre is compatible with a Tuneboy or will it need to be disconnected?
I currently have TORs with the factory "upgrade" tune can I put triple K&Ns on or should I wait until I can get a TB?
What is a 12 min. tune? and how do I do it?

Just so that I can feel like I'm contributing and not just freeloading on all of your knowledge...For those of us who bought new bikes [previously unregistered] in 2009 the sales tax is deductible as a part of the same Bill that did it for cars. My accountant didn't believe me until he did his own research so I'm guessing most people don't know about this.

like I said information overload. Maybe it's my search technique for example when I search "how to 12 minute tune" I get 112 threads that mention the phrase "12 min tune" how do I narrow that down without reading them all?

I wouldn't say the GIPro is incompatible just duplicative unless you just want the Gear Indicator which is nice (but you wouldn't need the atre for that). You would need a new tune if you put on the triples. i got mine off of this site. You already got your 12 minute tune answer. I just saved you 3000 hours of reading! Unfortunately I didn't save myself the same. ;)
 
Thanx guys, I like the gear indicator and since the difference between the two gipros is what $30 that maybe I would get the atre to uncorck 1,2,&3 until I get a tb but not if I would have to change it when I do install the tb. I thought that I read one of the posts where someone was having trouble getting the tb to work properly with the gipro because they weren't playing nice
 
That was big T,
I think he used the tuneboy to unrestrict his top end and a tune Pig9R gave him to finally get it right.
Now he's just using the GIPro for the gear selector function if I'm not mistaken,
as the tuneboy has taken care of all the other issues.
If I'm wrong, I'm sure Big T will be along shortly to correct it.
