2008 R3T with lots of changes
Hey out there, is anybody interested in a tall Clearview windshield with vent for an R3T.
I bought it prior to going on a long vacation ride a couple of years ago. I used it for about
1 1/2 to 2 months as I was waiting on my fairing when I got it. It's in great shape and works
especially well for long rides and a passanger. The vent really helps on those hot days. I have
a full fairing now and don't anticipate using it again. I'm in northern California. Thanks -Dan

How tall is it from the top of the headlight to the top of the screen?

I'ts a Clearview, mounted on the stock Triumph quick detaching hardware with the lower small "wings" and measures 23 1/2" from top of headlight cutout to the top of the shield. I used it for a 2 week tour of the
southwest. It was removed in order to install my fairing. It's in excellent shape. I just like my fairing better, so it's just sitting here. I think it will do well for a tall rider as this is much taller that the stock screen was. The vent was well appreciated in the heat of the southwest. I think I paid $195.00 + $55 for the vent. That's just the shield by itself. It utilizes the stock Triumph mounting hardware. Hope this helps guys. I will try to take a couple of pix and post them. Thanks -Dan

I think the tall "stock" R3T is 25", if I remember right, so that is about the same.

That does look a lot taller, I'll have to measure mine, now I'm curious, I thought the tall versions were 25".

I have a stock one, probably not tall, it measures 17" from headlight cutout to top of screen.

Yeah it's way taller than stock. The stock one on my 2008 I always looked over the top of.
This one I look through. The stock one caused terrible buffetting for my wife, so we agreed to
get the tall shield for our tour. We were very comfortable with it and my wife wasn't a bobblehead
for the duration of our trip!

Here are the pix I promised. It's a light smoke, no recurve, mounted on all factory hardware. It's
a plug-n-play deal. It's wet outside from heavy rain over the weekend, so I had to take pictures on
bed in our spare bedroom. Note: this is a queen size bed, so you can see how tall it is.
