Just mounted mine in the empty air box along with the relay. I used the wiring kit and install was a snap. Great sound and out of sight.

Maybe the air box is my best bet then to keep the Stebel out of sight although I was kind of hoping to use it as a glove box.

When you say the air box, where do you mean?

Where the stock air filter is located under the seat. This is only possible if you do an air intake mod such as the under the tank filter or triple K & N's so the stock filter location becomes vacant.
