Yesterday after work was over I'm getting my gear on and I try to start the bike and nothing... I turn it off and on a couple of times still nothing. I tried to push start it and 800 lbs is hard as hell to move with little to no slope, I thumb the starter again and still nothing, so I give her one more push and no go, when I thumb the starter she fires right up! From what I've read on here it might be the clutch switch, or the starter button has a bad contact.

Several years ago my start fail turned out to be the stator...expensive but of course worth the price to put the rubber back on the road. I tried rolling my rocket as well but was told that it was not simply the size that prevented a roll start but such a traditional remedy was not possible with a fuel injected machine coupled with the friction of a shaft drive. Confirm anyone ? -Doug

With @DEcosse keyless ignition you will know if the clutch switch is working cos if it fails the gauges won’t sweep

Could be starter relay -located under the right side cover - the middle relay I think. If not even a relay click might be worth replacing as I had one fail just recently
