The weather looks descent and projected to be in the mid 60's. How about some of us who are available ride up and see Rusty? I'll send a PM to him and see if he'll have some time for lunch and a good B.S. session. Either way it should be an easy ride and maybe we could take a few back roads on the way up.

Hondax, if your backrest is working and there's still no chicks in the coop........ fly the coop and come up this way.

Sunday is April Fools Day so let me make it clear ..........THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

This is a trap, isn't it...

Maybe...Rusty isn't going to make us clean up his yard, is he???

We're On For Sunday - April 1st

Just got a PM from Rusty and it looks like we're on for this Sunday. If you'd like to ride along, here's the schedule:

11:15 am - Assemble at the Downtown (Charles B. Wheeler) Airport parking lot
11:30 am - Depart on 169 North through Smithville to St. Joseph
1:00 pm - Arrive at Wiedmaiers Truck Stop on the N.W. corner of 169/I-29
1:15 pm - Rusty makes GRAND ENTRANCE and we're off to the races

If you're coming from a different direction or want to ride solo, we'll see you at the truck stop at 1:00 pm.

Ride Safe

I did give an alternative route to Pianoman which would be more pleasurable than the ride up I-29 (which I find rather hum-drum). That will be his choice, but either way he decides, I'll plan on meeting the group & we'll "wing it" from there. The Parkway ride is really pretty cool, with lots of Possible stops along the way (for instance, a softball field which was named after my grandfather) to take a moment to chat about what the past few miles were like. Of course, in Pianoman's case, each stop would require about 15 minutes of "disconnect procedure" from the mother ship to even have a few moments to visit. So, maybe we'll keep going until the halfway point which may buy us some time. I plan on taking a ride up to Wyeth Hill which is a pretty cool view of Kansas across the Missouri River to the local airport. We could then drop down to the Casino where Pianoman did his New Years Eve gig here is St. Joe. Lots of possibilities. We'll have to see how much time the group has to spare.

Looking forward to the gathering, even if it's Pianoman & myself, but hoping for a few others to attend as well. I'd sure like to visit with Raymond about Sturgis, meet Pig9r, talk turkey (sorry, chicken) with Hondax and pry a little more info out if Tomo about the upgrades to my Rocket's breathing system. Any others within riding distance hopefully could find some time too. I'm sure that would be the most Rockets this town would ever see at one time.

See ya.

I'm going to try and make it but will probably have to meet you at the truckstop.. I don't know quite yet.... I'll know more Saturday...

Tell me, who in there right mind would count 145,200 chicks to assure you were not screwed 1 or 2 "drumsticks-to-be". I truely enjoy what I do for a living but if it came to counting in numbers that large, I think I'd have to change occupations.

We count on individuals like Hondax to add meaning to the words: "CHICKEN SHEET" when we are pissed off & need that one comment to satisify our need to really tell the world how we feel (if that makes any since at all, and I don't think is does).

Would be good to visit with you again Hondax. See ya.

Rusty,
The morning roll call and evening bed check are time killers but the rest of the time is just making sure you keep things to perfection so you don't lose big numbers.:D

Hope to c u Sunday.:)
