2020 rocket 3r
Evening all, UK based here, after some advice on servicing my 2020 Rocket3R, its just about to come out of extended warranty in October and im just about to have its yearly service end of September at 16500 miles, my question is what would everyone advice for next year should i carry on with Triumph Dealer service or go to a local garage or do people generally do it themselves, my concern is its a hell of a bike and my favorite thing so i don't want to ruin it for the future and keep it in great mechanical condition for many years to come, i do approx 2000 to 3000 miles a year, and i know the next service would probable be the big 20000 one, a friend of mine has a 2024 rocket 3R and as soon as the warranty us over hes planning on doing it himself and says i should not bother with the dealer.
any opinions and advice welcomed
thanks all

If you are in the states u can service it your self while under warranty. Oil is a pretty easy job and their are videos along with free pdf down loads of the service manual you can follow. If you are moderatly handy you shoukd be able to accomplish an oil and air filter change

Thanks for the reply I am moderately handy I already service my cars so that's why I'm considering it I just don't want to cock up my bike, the 20000 big service is what is also making me think as that's valve checks and shaft check etc I believe. It's approx £1200.

There are some threads and videos posted on the valve job by journeyman if you wanna see what it entails. That particular maintinance item is more indepth.
