Scraping noise in rear???

I've noticed recently a srape, scrape, scrape noise that sounds like it's from the rear hub...right now it is a low sounding noise that is difficult to hear unless there is no surrounding outside noise..and it stops when I pull in the clutch lever..I will be taking this back to my dealer soon but he is already scratching his head when I describe the symptoms on the phone...any input would be appreciated....

Ya need LOUDER pipes!... Maybe brake pads?

That's the sound I heard when the bearing went out...I thought it was in the rear hub (even looked to see if something got stuck between the wheel and the frame). I'd get the bike in to the dealer ASAP. Check these posts for others with this problem.

thanks CaptainRich, I think this may give the Dealer something to look at for a solution...going down Pacific Coast Highway soon all the way to San Diego I don't want any bad interuptions along the way.
