rpm gage electric prob

when turning the ignition switch on the rpm gage lights blink once and thats about it, the dial is not making the full jump to max and back...so after this first blink the gage is pretty much ded...help

Check all the fuses

Pull it off the bike, disconnect the electrical plug, put a little diaelectric grease on it and plug it back in.

does to speedo work ok? when mine went out it affect the rpm gage, idiot lights etc.

speedo works fine...now the bike wont start at all, when turing the ignition key the lights go on speedo is doing the usual jump from max to 0 the rpm gage only blinks once there is a ticking noise from the front (like a little grind noise ) and the bike does not respont to the startup botton

Did you reolcate your ignition? If you did you might want to pop the back of it off and check the solder connections.

no did not relocated my ignition, its a 2007 r3 standart stock.

it was a loose conection under the gas tank, everything is working fine now...thanks guys
