I've owned my 05 R3 for about 4 weeks now (4200 miles). I've had 2 instances when under hard acceleration then fairly quick deceleration, the engine stopped running. Tonight it happend as I was turning into a parking lot to the right headed down hill. Took afew moments cranking, No problem restarting. Any ideas?
My second question has to do with riding into curves aggressively. The rear wheel hops rather than sticking to the road surface. Is it due to the rear tire size and me not being use to it or is there a shock problem or shock setting that can be made? Suspension upgrade? Any thoughts.
It is a problem with the cutting out that has occurred to a few bikes in the past and Triumph have done recalls for remapping in the past. Its worth checking with your dealer if they have been done.
If the bike is running standard shocks I would point the finger of Accuse there. There are a few choices for replacements so check other links for opinions 8)
I just got a recall for my 05 i no longer have........take it to your dealer and get it sorted, they now know and admit there is a problem.........god bless them it only took 2 ***in years to fess up
