I don't suppose you could get a picture of that setup jefff1... I have (I believe) the same lift. I would like to see what you did before I start welding. Thanks!
What I did last time I took the rear off was use a car jack with a block of wood under the swingarm. The front end was locked securely in an LA chock http://www.baxleycompanies.com/LAChock.html and strapped down. It worked but I didn't like it.
